Hi
I was brought to your blog, about to click backwards before reading the header "from bangkok to calgary" .... hmmm... many people have not even heard of calgary so I clicked further and discovered ... its de va ju all over again!!!
I did the Alberta/BC roadtrip too when I graduated some time back and flew alone to Calgary to meet a friend who was doing an internship there.
Yes, we rented a car and drove from Calgary to Banff to Jasper to Edmonton and back over the weekends.
On my last weekend, we drove from Calgary to Vancouver (circa 12 hrs too) to catch my flight back home.
I still remember the Changi-Incheon-SFO-Vancouver (YVR)-Calgary(YKK?) 24 hr-flight plus transfers were poor comfort on the ass for someone who could only afford a y-class ticket. Hope u travelled better.
The pictures were candidly well-taken and brought back fond memories.... this blog made my day!
